(Ali-Imran) 3 : 145

And no soul can die except with Lord Allah’s Permission, the term is already fixed; and whoever desires the rewards of this world, We shall give it to him, and whoever desires the rewards of the Hereafter, We shall give it to him, and We will reward for the grateful.

It is told in verses 4: 78-79: “Wherever you may be, death will meet you even though you are in well-built-towers. And whenever any goodness happens to them, they say: ‘This is from Lord’, and whenever any bad happens to them, they say: ‘This is from you’. You say: ‘Everything is from Lord, then what happened to these people that they can’t grasp the Speech Adhikr. Any good happens to you, it is from Lord; while any bad happens to you, it is from yourself, and Lord has sent you as a Messenger to mankind, and Lord is enough as a witness”.

The 999 out of each thousand are Arabic Quran reading Fujjar and they have made their food ‘rejecting Adhikr’. They are preferring bodily and worldly life without considering the soul and Hereafter. The believer will judge with Adhikr in his individual, family, and social life. The believer who accepts the Lord as the Impartial knows that the Fujjar are given more worldly bounties since they will have heinous punishment in the Hereafter. Since nobody can make anyone a believer, the duty of Messenger and believer is only to convey Lord’s Message Adhikr as told in verse 13: 40. See explanation 2: 62, 201-202, and 234.
